Originally from Co. Wexford and now living in Dublin, Liz is an artist who has worked in diverse aspects of the arts throughout her career. A graduate of the National College of Art and Design, Dublin where she studied woven textile design, she then worked for a number of years as a dyer in the textile industry. She has always drawn and painted and over the years has explored a wide range of media and approaches to image making. More recently Liz has developed an interest in portraiture, working on a small scale and in miniature. She has been awarded the Ireland US Council/ Irish Arts Review Award for Portraiture at the RHA 188th Annual Exhibition 2018. She has completed a number of portrait and illustration commissions, including Christmas 2017 and Love & Marriage 2018 stamps for An Post.  Liz has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and her work is displayed in corporate and private collections in Ireland and abroad.
